Jay Uhler

Jay Uhler is a frequent guest on my program and one of our dearest WBZ family members. I've known Jay for over 25 years and our friendship grows stronger every day.

Jay's mission in life is "to bring harmony to and between people." He pursues this mission with a passion.

He was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Kentucky. Jay worked in a brickyard before entering the parish ministry. His present appointment in the United Methodist Church is "Ministry in the Secular World."

Jay is licensed in Massachusetts in Organizational and Clinical Psychology, is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and is a Charter Member of the American Family Therapy Academy. He serves individuals, couples and families.

His approach to therapy has been referred to by colleagues as "Creative Therapy," because he develops the therapeutic process to meet the specific needs of each client. He humorously refers his method as "YOU-hlerian." It is the natural expression of his profound and unshakable conviction in the ability of people, with proper guidance, to heal themselves.
